Why do people buy magazines?

People but magazines for many different reasons, some people may want to get the latest gossip about their favourite celebrities. Magazines come in all different topics, people can buy a magazine and gain so much information about that particular topic, gardening, film, fashion, music.

Magazines are on the verge of becoming very unpopular due to the rise in social media, with the new smartphones you can do near enough anything. Magazines can come on apps, websites and if someone wants to find out something they can use the internet to quickly search it up. 

Magazines come at a price, the new, more popular way of viewing magazines is much cheaper and faster to access that the other way of popping down to the shop to get the latest issue. Most artists and actors are on Twitter and Facebook and if they have big announcements they would like to make then they will do them where most of the audience will see.

Magazines are becoming less popular as the internet is becoming more widely spread,  therefore in years to come magazines will be worth much more value, hence why people collect them.
